Date: 25 – 28 March 2009 Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Responding to Conflict and the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, Cambodia, are offering a four day course that will enable programme managers, coordinators and practitioners in the fields of development, humanitarian response, peacebuilding and conflict transformation a practical way to bring the conflict context into the programme cycle.
This course is designed to familiarise participants with a conflict sensitive approach to programming. It will follow the programme/project cycle and offer participants a practical way to implement conflict sensitivity into each of the 3 stages in the life of a programme – starting with the planning process, through implementation, to the monitoring and evaluation phase.
The course is structured in a way that will ensure that conflict sensitivity can easily and practically be integrated into programme planning and that this will lead to the effective implementation and evaluation of your programme.
